What should you do if you want to visit us during COVID-19?

CORONA PASSPORTS AND ACCESS TO CAMPS OF LEGENDS
REMEMBER CORONAPAS
Guests aged 15 years and older who have received the first, second or third COVID-19 vaccine shot(at least 14 days must have passed since the first shot) can visit Lejre Land of Legends without a negative test. A vaccination to provide a valid corona passport 12 months after completion of vaccination.
- Danish citizens: Danish citizens must present a Corona passport for COVID-19 vaccination. This can be found at sundhed.dk under “Corona” → “Coronapas – COVID-19 vaccination” or in MinSundhed or the Coronapas app.
- Foreign citizens: Foreign citizens must present documentation for a completed or ongoing vaccination course upon arrival at Lejre Land of Legends. The vaccination passport is valid for 14 days after the first injection. In addition, foreign citizens must also present ID that matches the vaccination passport.
Guests who have been infected can present the positive sample from 14 days and up to 6 months after.
Guests aged 15 years and older who are not vaccinated must bring documentation of a negative COVID-19 test. This can either be a negative antigen test(rapid test) taken within 72 hours or a PCR test(in the throat) taken within 94 hours, which also states the name, test time and test result. Please have the test result ready, either on your mobile or as a printout, when you arrive at Lejre Land of Legends. It makes it easier for all of us.
Guests who are exempt from the corona passport and test must present valid documentation. This can be obtained at Citizen Service. Read more about the scheme here.
REMEMBERID
In addition to presenting documentation of a negative COVID-19 test, guests aged 15 years and older must present valid ID. This can be a driver’s license, health card, passport or other government-issued ID.
hAVE YOU BEEN INFECTED?
Guests who have been infected can present the positive sample from 14 days and up to 6 months after.
YOU DON’T NEED A SEAT TICKET TO VISIT KONGEHALLEN
As of November 9, the assembly ban in Denmark is 200 people indoors. Therefore, you do not need a seat ticket to visit Kongehallen.
If the assembly ban is 99 or less, it will be necessary to reinstate seat ticket booking for visits to Kongehallen.

Test center and COVID-19 test
Remember to bring Coronapas!
As a Knowledge-Pedagogical Activity Center (VPAC), Lejre Land of Legends is required by the authorities to require guests aged 15 and older to present documentation on Coronapas. This applies to both Danish and foreign citizens.
When you arrive at Lejre Land of Legends, you must present a corona passport with your name and ID in the form of a driver’s license, health card, passport or other government-issued ID.
Lejre Land of Legends does not store any of this information.
There may be exceptions to presenting a corona passport – you can read more about this at the bottom of this page in our FAQ & Questions.
Children up to the age of 14 do not need to present a corona passport.

PCR test (may require an appointment via coronaprover.dk):
Roskilde Kongrescenter – Møllehusvej 13, 4000 Roskilde(Every day between 9:00 and 17:30).
You can show up without an appointment (walk-in) for PCR testing between 15:00 and 17:00 on the opening days. You should expect that there may be a queue.
Hedehusene Station Building – Hovedgaden 437A, 2640 Hedehusene(Friday 15.00-21.00; Saturday & Sunday 08.00-14.00)
No appointments available, only walk-in appointments However, appointments are available for children between 2-12 years.
Roskilde Airport – Køgevej 167, 4621 Gadstrup(Monday-Friday 8.00-20.00; Saturday & Sunday 8.00-16.00)
You should expect that there may be a queue. Children under the age of 15 who are not accompanied by a parent or guardian must book an appointment. Children from 0-2 years with a referral from their own doctor can be tested by appointment only. Walk-in hours are from 15:00-17:00 on weekdays and from 15:00-16:00 on weekends. Quick tests are available from 15:00-17:00 on weekdays and from 15:00-16:00 on weekends.

Do I need to present a negative COVID-19 test to enter Lejre Land of Legends?
Yes, you do. As a Knowledge-Pedagogical Activity Center (VPAC), Sagnlandet Lejre is required by the authorities that guests aged 15 years and older must present documentation of a corona passport, such as a negative COVID-19 test that is max. 72 hours old, past illnesses or vaccination. The COVID-19 test can either be an antigen test (rapid test) or a PCR test (in the throat). When you arrive at Lejre Land of Legends, you must present a corona passport with your name, test time and result, as well as ID in the form of either a driver’s license, health card, passport or other publicly issued ID. Also for your children over the age of 15.
Children up to the age of 14 do not need to present a negative test.
If you are fully or partially vaccinated (i.e. it has been more than 14 days since you received your first coronavirus vaccination), you can visit Lejre Land of Legends without a negative COVID-19 test. However, you must bring your Corona passport for this. This can be found on sundhed.dk under Corona à Coronapas – COVID-19 vaccination.
I have been vaccinated abroad – or am bringing guests from abroad. What applies as coronapas?
If you have been vaccinated abroad or are bringing guests who have been vaccinated abroad, they must be able to present documentation that they have received at least one shot. In addition, at least 14 days must have passed since the first vaccination before they can use the vaccination passport as valid documentation in Lejre Land of Legends.
The date of vaccination and name must appear on the documentation and you or your guest must present valid photo ID along with the vaccination passport.
When do the 72 hours start?
They apply from the second you are inoculated either in the nose or throat. Therefore, if you are tested on Friday at 9:00 am, the test is valid until Monday at 9:00 am, i.e. 72 hours (3 days).
Do I need to present a negative COVID-19 test if I am vaccinated?
If you are fully or partially vaccinated (i.e. you received your first shot of coronavirus vaccine at least 14 days ago), you can visit Lejre Land of Legends without a negative COVID-19 test. Do children have to show a negative COVID-19 test?
No, children and young people up to the age of 14 are exempt from showing a negative test. Remember to bring ID so we can see the children’s age.
Children up to and including 3 years old enter Lejre Land of Legends for free.
Children from 3 up to and including 11 years old enter for DKK 115,- (110,- if you buy the ticket online). NOTE: Christmas admission is DKK 45,- for children.
Do I have to show a negative COVID-19 test every time I enter a building?
No, once you have shown your negative COVID-19 test at the entrance, you don’t need to show it everywhere else you meet us in the landscape. However, you must wear a face mask where required.
NOTE: From June 14, 2021, it is no longer necessary to wear a face mask in indoor areas in Lejre Land of Legends.
Where should I wear a face mask?
NOTE: From June 14, 2021, it is no longer necessary to wear a face mask in indoor areas in Lejre Land of Legends.
You are of course welcome to wear a face mask if you feel safer with a face mask.
I am exempt from testing and have not been vaccinated. What’s the big deal?
The corona passport requirement does not apply to the following:
- Children under the age of 15.
- People who should not have a COVID-19 test for medical reasons.
- People who, due to a physical or mental disability, should not be tested for COVID-19.
You must be able to provide documentation that you are exempt from testing. You can get this documentation at Citizen Service. Read more about the scheme here.
I am exempt from face masks. What happens next?
NOTE: From June 14, 2021, it is no longer necessary to wear a face mask in indoor areas in Lejre Land of Legends.
Can I eat in Lejre Land of Legends?
Yes, you can. Our Café Hvidesøhus has a lot to offer, both for lunch or for the sweet tooth. However, you can sit outside Cafe Hvidesøhus where there are chairs and tables and large fixed parasols. The parasols have a built-in heater that you can turn on yourself on chilly days. If you sit outdoors at the tables and umbrellas, you and your family can sit down without prior booking. Once you have presented negative COVID-19 at the entrance, you do not need to show it again at the Café.

You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch and enjoy it at your favorite place in Lejre Land of Legends.
Do I need to make a reservation to sit at Café Hvidesøhus?
No, you do not need to make a reservation to sit at or in Café Hvidesøhus. The outdoor area in front of Hvidesøhus has plenty of space, with plenty of tables and a canopy with built-in heating.
It is also possible to sit indoors, however, the number of indoor seats is currently limited due to the extraordinary distance requirements related to COVID-19 precautions.
It is not possible to reserve a table in advance.
Are Kongehallen, Jernalderhusene and Landbohusene open to the public?
Kongehallen is open to the public.
Landbohusene is also open to the public.
The Iron Age Houses are closed down for the winter and it is therefore not possible to enter them.
