Join zookeeper Mia Carlsen on a very special guided tour of The Wild Path. Den Vilde Vej stretches 330 metres between the tree trunks above the animal enclosures at Sagnlandet Lejre. During the tour, Mia will tell you about Sagnlandet’s wild boars, the cultural history of pigs and the close relationship that has existed between pigs and humans, from early cave paintings to today’s chubby marzipan pigs.
During the tour, Mia lures the wild boars out with a bucketful of feed, so everyone has a good view whilst the pigs munch away.
