Follow along as we get the loom ready

Before you can start weaving, the loom must be prepared. It’s a job that often takes several days and can require several hands. This weekend, our Iron Age people and textile craftsmen will set up a special loom in one of the houses in the Iron Age village and talk about the two-pom loom – the special type of loom used in the early part of the Iron Age.
