It’s both Easter and springtime in Krikkebjerghuse, Lejre Land of Legends’ homesteads from the 1800s. And Easter is a special time.
Every day of Easter offers new tasks, traditions and stories. Take the road to Krikkebjerghuse and listen as the farmers tell the stories behind Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Shrove Saturday and the rest of the old holiday.
Join in and colour a chicken Easter egg with spring’s tender plants and winter’s onion shells and see what patterns you can coax out of the egg.
And if you have a special place in your heart, you can also get a tip or two to find out if the spring feelings are reciprocated.
