🎂 Lejre Land of Legends turns 60 years old!
On 10 April 1965, Lejre Land of Legends opened its doors to the public for the very first time. This year we’re marking the anniversary with a festive week filled with activities, fellowship and little surprises from Sunday 30 June to Saturday 6 July.
Come and join us as we celebrate 60 years of living history! We guarantee fun, crafts, historical experiences – and of course a birthday atmosphere throughout Land of Legends.

Monday to Friday:
10.30-13.00 & 13.30-16.30: Reconstruction crafts in the pottery: How is a Jutland pot made?
Monday to Wednesday and Saturday to Sunday:
10.30 – 13.30 & 14.00 – 16.30: Reconstruction crafts in the costume workshop: The Egtved girl’s costume!
Wednesday to Friday:

Monday to Wednesday:
10.30 (20 minutes): Lecture: History of the Iron Age village of Lethra
13.30 (20 minutes): Guided tour of Lethra Iron Age Village
