Prices – buy your ticket for 2026!
A ticket to Lejre Land of Legends gives you access to Lejre Land of Legends throughout the current calendar year in which the ticket is purchased, from the day you buy it.
Adult and child tickets can be purchased both on the day in our store and online.
All other ticket types can only be purchased at the door.
Tickets (DKK)
These tickets can be purchased online and at the door.
ADULT (12+ years): 225 DKK
CHILD (3-11 years): 160 DKK
BABY (0-2 years): free
DOG: Free – as long as it’s on a lead! (We have both loose sheep and loose tourists)
Adult and child tickets can be purchased on the day in our shop and online.
All other ticket types can only be purchased at the door.

SANTE HANS EVENING: 85 DKK(only from 17.00 on 23 June)
CHRISTMAS WEEKENDS: 85 DKK
NOTE: Have you already bought a ticket in 2026? Then you don’t need to buy a Christmas ticket as well.
STUDENTS: 195 DKK
The student card must be valid on the day the entrance ticket is purchased.
Applies to students in higher education.
The student price does not apply to students in primary and lower secondary school, youth education including upper secondary school and similar.
GROUPS (12 people or more): DKK 205 (adult), DKK 150 (child)
The discount is obtained by paying in full at the door.
FRIENDS OF LAND OF LEGENDS: DKK 270 (adult), DKK 160 (child)
Membership to “Friends of Lejres Land of Legends” is automatically renewed every year in the spring.
Schools & Institutional groups
ENTRY (price per student/teacher and per day visit): DKK 60
Lejre Land of Legends offers subscription schemes that make it easy and simple to visit us with a group several times. Read more here: schools & institutional groups.
DISABLED ACCOMMODATION: free of charge
A disabled companion enters Lejre Land of Legends on the same ticket as the person with a disability. You only need to buy a single admission ticket for both of you. You are required to present a valid companion card at the entrance.
DOGS IN SAGNLANDET LEJRE: Free of charge
Dogs are welcome in Lejre Land of Legends as long as you keep them on a lead.

Practical Information
Opening hours
The opening hours in Lejre Land of Legends are seasonal. We therefore have different opening hours depending on which season we are in.
Accessibility
A trip to Lejre Land of Legends is also like a walk in the woods. There are several places in Lejre Land of Legends where a wheelchair or pram cannot reach. The Blue Route is the most wheelchair and pram-friendly route. The Yellow Route is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams.
Car parking
Parking in Land of Legends is free of charge. We have 3 car parks with over 300 spaces. The third car park is hidden behind the largest gravel car park we have, so if it looks like it’s full, brace yourself: there’s another car park behind it.
Arrival
All guests must enter through the entrance by the store. Everyone goes through the same double door – so the queue may look longer than it is. It’s only inside the store that the queue splits between those with and without a ticket or season pass.

Lejre Land of Legends was founded in 1964 to create new knowledge about the past through experiments under the name Lejre Experimental Centre.
The King’s Hall
It’s a 300-400 metre walk up to Kongehallen from the entrance to Lejre Land of Legends.
